The Center for the Study of Auctions, Procurements and Competition Policy in the Department of Economics was established in Spring 2005 to bring the expertise embodied in a remarkable group of faculty to leaders in public and private institutions who face important questions and issues concerning competitive allocation mechanisms, such as auctions and procurements, and competition policies.
